Located in the historic Guthrie Building in downtown Kerrville, the Clack Law Firm is dedicated to defending your rights. Steve Clack is a solo practitioner with a restricted practice focusing on significant civil litigation throughout Texas. Martindale Hubbell has bestowed an AV rating on Mr. Clack signifying the highest degree of skill, accomplishment, ethics, and recognition by clients and fellow attorneys. Mr. Clack has multiple board certifications in civil litigation, personal injury trial, and civil pretrial practice, with numerous significant jury verdicts.
Mr. Clack and his staff are committed to providing the highest quality of representation for his clientele. He has been practicing throughout Texas for more than 30 years and has been regularly named one of Texas’ “Super Lawyers” by Texas Monthly magazine and to the “Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.” Mr. Clack has represented clients throughout Texas and the United States, including numerous Federal Courts. He handles cases in the state district and federal Court of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Clack has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since December 1990. In August 1991 he became a Board Certified – Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is also Board Certified in Civil Pretrial Practice by the National Board of Civil Pretrial Practice.
Mr. Clack has been practicing law since 1980. He grew up as the 4th generation in the small west Texas town of Andrews, Texas before graduating from Baylor University School of Law. He moved back to west Texas where he practiced until moving to Kerrville in 1999. Over the years he has focused statewide on helping people with significant injuries or death claims resulting from trucking or automobile collisions, industrial accidents, construction accidents, insurance disputes, breach of contract, and all types of significant litigation.
Mr. Clack has served as the President of the Andrews County Bar Association, as well as a member of the Ector County Bar Association, Kerr County Bar Association, College of the State Bar of Texas, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Board of Trial Advocates, and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was a Director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association from 1991 through 1996. He has been regularly named to the Texas “Super Lawyers” and the “Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.”
